Dangerous Curves Body Boutique (formerly known as Dangerous Curves Slimming Salon) is the brainchild of Dana Gale, a fashion designer temporarily turned slimming expert. Her story isn’t exactly your average run of the mill girl following her dreams come true. Instead it is one filled with unexpected twists and turns ultimately leading her to what was set in store or Dana doing her part for society. Before starting about Dangerous Curves Body Boutique itself, let’s judge the author before delving into what the book is about.

Dana Gale had always wanted to be a fashion designer. Ever since she was 12 she knew this was what she wanted. To put things into perspective, Dana had actually started designing when she was 16, specializing in costumes for on-stage performers such as dancers and musicians. She shifted to LA when 19 to take further her career specializing with musicians' apparel.

So far so good, then disaster reared its ugly head and struck when Dana decided to continue her work back home in Vancouver. A tragic car accident bottlenecked the whole plan. However, a positive attitude got Dana through difficult times. In this recovery period Dana experienced something that got her seeing things in a different light.

Long story short, Dana came across body wraps. The experience and the results were so astounding that it didn’t even require Dana to think twice before opening her own shop in Burnaby.

Today Dangerous Curves Body Boutique is the only salon in Greater Vancouver providing Suddenly Slender Body Wraps and related specialist services. Dana herself is a Suddenly Slender Wrap Technician as well as Lash It! Eyelash extension specialist. Forget the services they provide; the results are what speak for themselves. They are based on well understood scientific principles; their wraps target and drain out excess fat reserves from the body providing for massive gains on your weight loss targets. As if that wasn’t assuring enough, Dana’s salon comes under the supervision of a US based parent company established over 47 years ago.  Among their products; body wraps alone have been featured on numerous media such as ELLEN, Tyra Banks, Rachel Ray, EXTRA, The View, Entertainment Tonight, Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous & ROCK 101 to name only a few.

Body wraps are only the tip of the iceberg. The salon offers other services such as Infrared Heat Therapy and ProEllixe whole body vibration which gets your body sweating and burning calories equivalent to an hour and half’s workout. The skin and cellulite department includes latest additions such as the Viora Reaction and VibroLight.

All in all, it’ll be safe to say Dana is getting to live her dream of beautifying people in the world. While she didn’t get to do it her way the fact remains that there isn’t  only one road  to reach one’s destination.

Suddenly Slender founder Victoria turns 80!

"Can you imagine being an Octogenarian? I remember experiencing, at 16, the beautiful sadness of  knowing I would never live to be 21! What a drama queen I was!

Handling the different effects of increasing age, as I experienced them, has paid off. There are a lot of things that happen from decade to decade. The first big change was in my 40’s, suddenly all the things that worked on my skin and hair stopped working. I had to try many different products to come up with a regimen that worked. My 50’s were pretty smooth, at 60+ I had to develop cleanser and creams as the store bought ones just didn’t cut it. I call the 70-80 year range, Repair. It seemed as though all my bad habits caught up to me, it took a lot of inventing to reverse those negative physical changes.

However here I am at 80 and plan on living many more decades and in taking inventory I realize that:

I don’t wear glasses and take NO medication or drugs.

My hearing is good and I can smell something burning long before younger people notice it. The senses seem to be at an optimal level.

I am flexible of body and can bend over and put my palms flat on the floor, without bending my knees, something I couldn’t do at 30, when I was experiencing arthritic symptoms, which got painfully worse, until I started wrapping myself at age 34. I am still physically strong and can run very fast.

Wow! I’ve been getting wraps for 46 years.

Not bragging, just noting the difference between my physical condition and the usual state of a body at 80. I can attribute the differences to the fact that I have been wrapped a LOT over the years and as Dr. Linus Pauling stated “all diseases are a result of mineral deficiencies.” I had a rough start in life as I had measles, mumps, chicken pox, polio, rickets, pneumonia, malaria, bronchitis and just about any cold or flu that came around. At 16 I picked up a copy of Prevention magazine and read it from cover to cover and that started me on the road to handling my body with vitamins, minerals and consistent detoxifying.

This is what 80 can look like

I wish I looked 30 but I can pass for 20 to 30 years younger than my actual age. I have to work on that! As a matter of fact I am putting together a combination of wonderful things in a serum that should knock another 10+ years off my apparent age.

I advise anyone who wants to live a long and healthy life to get wrapped regularly, at least every 2 months. It is important, not just to detoxify yourself but to ensure that you absorb the minerals your body needs so desperately. It’s inconvenient, it’s hard to fit it into your life but we all need it. The world gets dirtier every year!"

Kind Regards and much love,
